Board Meeting                                   July 8, 2019                 7pm

Minutes

Attendance: Chairman Neale Jones, Supervisor Peter McFarland (by phone), Supervisor Ron Johnson, Treasurer Sue Nampel, Clerk Susan Johnson, Assessor P. Joseph Plasil.

 1. The Board meeting was called to order at 7:07pm by Chairman Neale Jones, the Pledge of Allegiance was recited.

2. The Minutes were reviewed by the Town Board, on a motion by Supervisor Johnson to accept the minutes as read, seconded by Chairman Jones. Motion Carried.

3. The Treasurers Report was read by the Town Treasurer, on a motion by Chairman Jones to accept the report as read, and seconded by Supervisor Johnson. Motion Carried.

4. The monthly bills were read by Clerk Johnson; Supervisor Johnson made a motion to pay monthly bills and Chairman Jones seconded. Motion Carried.

5. Correspondences;

a. The Transportation Information Center sent notice of the upcoming classes for “Using PASER and WISLER to manage your Roads” Noted by the board.

b. Kunkel Engineering Group sent a letter offering Building Inspections, municipal engineering, consulting services. Noted by the board.

c. Badgerland is sending out flyers for individuals who want to have individual curbside pick-up. This is something you do on your own not thru the township.

d. The Town Officers, WTA Dodge County Unit meeting is scheduled for July 17, 2019 at 7:30pm in Juneau.

6. Reports;

a. The Watertown Rural Fire Department fire responses for the month of March was three EMS calls to the Town of Shields. Waterloo Fire Department sent it’s monthly reports for April & May and there were no runs to the town.

7. Old Business;

a. Clerk will check on further Banking options with Ixonia Bank.

8. New Business;

a. Dodge County Land Resources and Parks Department sent a Minor Land Division Letter of Intent form for Linda Knilans & Jeff Koellen (Llyod & Lois Koellen Trust). Discussion took place on the Land Division is to separate the residence from the farmland. Ten acres would be split off for the residence and the 37.9-acre lot. Discussion also took place about the DCLR & PC Zoning Permit is in the process of being done also. Supervisor Ron Johnson

made a motion to approve the Minor Land Division and the Zoning Permit from DCLR & PD, and Supervisor Peter McFarland seconded. Motion was carried all were in favor.

b. The Annual WTA Convention will take place this year on October 13-15 @ the Kalahari Resort & Convention Center in Wis Dells. The board will get back to the clerk at the August meeting on who will be attending.

9. Miscellaneous:

a. Reports of a bear siting’s have been recorded in Johnson Creek. If anyone has reports or pictures in the township, call the chairman or the DNR.

10. Public Comment-

a. Any one who is going to shoot off a large firework display needs to get a permit form from the chairman.

11. Next month’s meeting date; August 12, 2019 at 7 pm at the Emmet Town Hall.

Supervisor Johnson called for the meeting to be adjourned at 8:09pm and Chairman Jones seconded. Motion Carried Meeting Adjourned.
